Our Vision
KCS strives to be a welcoming and diverse school centered around the principal of student discovery – of self, of knowledge, of inventiveness, of personal and intellectual relationships, and of the positive impact they can have on the world.
Our Philosophy
We believe in fostering the interests and passion of our students through an approach that offers flexibility with structure, independence with accountability. We challenge and push, but also guide, support and counsel. We strive to have each student gain comfort with discomfort and, in so doing, grow and develop.
And while we believe that rigorous academics must be first and foremost, we further believe we have an obligation to work closely with our students to develop creativity self-awareness, collaborative skills, civic mindedness, spiritual direction and personal maturation.
