Tuition at KCS is not a “one size fits all” model because we want to be accessible to families with a wide range of financial circumstances. Our school’s financial model is built on this commitment to affordability.
This is why KCS tuition rates are customized according to each family’s ability to contribute to tuition and fees. This is called Indexed Tuition.
Affording KCS
Families that believe that the top rate of tuition and fees are beyond their reach should follow this process:
November, 2021.
KCS begins accepting Parent Financial Statements (PFS). Please submit as early as possible. You can access forms and resources HERE. If you have questions on the process or forms, don’t hesitate to call us at 207-381-7800.
January 4, 2022
Deadline to complete the following:
Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) submitted to TADS.
Photocopies of each parents' 2020 year-end pay stubs submitted to TADS.
Photocopies of 2020 Form 1040 including all schedules and if applicable, any partnership, sole proprietorship and/or corporate returns submitted to TADS. (Note: If you completed an Indexed Tuition Application in the previous year and submitted your 2019 taxes, you do not need to submit them again.)
February 1, 2022
Deadline to complete the following:
Photocopies of each parents' 2020 W2 and/or 1099 forms and any other income statements submitted to TADS.
March 29, 2022
Deadline to complete the following:
Photocopy of signed 2021 Form 1040 including all schedules and if applicable, any partnership, sole proprietorship, and/or corporate returns submitted to TADS.
