College Counseling
KCS fully understands both the significance of college placement, and the extensive processes involved in the college selection process. Each student works with a KCS college counselor, all of which have years of experience guiding students through this multiple step process, beginning in the fall of 10th grade, culminating in the spring of 12th grade, when the final selection is made.
Grade 9
Parents and guardians are key partners in the college search. Morning and evening programs and coffees provide opportunities to learn about trends in college admissions and details of the process.
Grade 10
10th grade career and interest assessments.
Grade 11
On-campus Test Prep and exploring the connections between interests and college programs.
Grade 12
College Counselor works directly with a student and their Learning Coach as the student develops and manages their plan to reach their goals.
