Learning Coaches
The Learning Coach is the central relationship for each KCS student.
Each coach brings energy, empathy, and intelligence to helping KCS students develop a vision of themselves in the future and to reach that vision through hard work, planning, connection, and reflection.
Students will see their coaches daily in through their weekly one-on-one meetings, through the coach’s daily presence helping students in the school space, the writing seminar, and as they support student project collaboration.
Each coach completes a rigorous training program that includes coaching methodology, adolescent psychology, supporting learning differences, and KCS values and processes.
